Hello and welcome to my piano studio!

Whether you are visiting on behalf of a child or as a beginning or returning adult learner, welcome!

Learning piano is just like learning any other skill, such as reading, writing, mathematics, or riding a bike. If you start simple, and build on it daily, it someday becomes something amazing.

My desire is to make piano accessible, fun, and engaging - a practice that makes daily playing something to look forward to.

"My now 6 year old daughter has been playing with Mrs Julia for a year now. Mrs Julia is SO patient and kind. She is exceptional at working with kiddos who can sometimes have a short attention span - she has helped my daughter not only learn about piano but has help build her confidence. HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking for a piano teacher!" -Andree E.

"Julia is a wonderful teacher! I'm an adult learner at 33 and she is able to break the lessons down so easily and makes them enjoyable. We do our lessons based on a beginners book she recommended and a piece that I wanted to play and it's been a great experience learning this way. Don't be afraid to ask questions or to learn from a piece you enjoy, shes very accommodating and will make sure to teach you based on your needs. I've progressed a lot with her guidance and if you are an adult learner thinking about starting piano, you should definitely do it with Ms. Julia!" -Sergio G.

"Julia is an excellent piano teacher! Her heart is for her students, as well as the beautiful skill of playing the piano. Not only is she talented, but She is patient, helpful, encouraging and kind as well. She has made all the difference in my daughters life!" -Rebekah T.

She is being filled with the love of the piano and classical music. I can't recommend this studio more and to top it off, it's all done through Zoom. We couldn't be happier. Thank you, Ada Studio, for your care and dedication to your students." -Jeanne E.

No pressure, but you will be impressed by your little ones on their first visit. I am all in for 'team Julia.'" -Walter S.

"Highly recommend. My son started learning piano with Miss Julia six months ago and loves it. He is always excited to go to, and Miss Julia has such patience and positivity. She is able to get my very active child to sit still and learn not only how to play, but also how to read music and feel comfortable performing. Miss Julia is very responsive with any assistance and great at encouraging my child during the week when we are practicing at home. I was concerned my son was too young when we started, but Miss Julia is able to keep the practices interesting and fun." -Maureen F.

"Julia is amazing! My son has been taking piano lessons from Mrs. Julia for almost a year. She is so patient and keeps the lesson fun by incorporating games and music related activities. My son is always excited for his piano lessons and he has made great progress." -Petra S.

"I want to thank you for your patience with [my grandson]. He has learned more from you in these past few months than he did in the previous 2 years. He thinks you are a wonderful teacher and so do I." -Joyce M.

"My son was 5 when we found Mrs. Julia. He has been taking piano lessons with with her for several months. She is patient and teaches him technique and keeps my son engaged during the 30 minutes class. She also has games that makes the class enjoyable for my son. All games are focus in piano learning. She gives opportunities for performances during the year. She is very professional and flexible as well. My son receives classes at her house. I love that the house gives a feeling of relaxation while I wait for my son to finish his class. Is also a very clean place." -Natalia Z.

"Ms Ada is a fantastic piano teacher, and I guess I would know as I tried out two other teachers before her that were not a good fit for me. (If you don't want to read a novella- skip to the last paragraph). I originally was referred to her by a friend for my son who has ADHD and SPD and needs a patient teacher and Ms Ada was great with him. Ultimately, he decided he wanted to do trumpet instead so after watching Ms Ada teach my kiddo, I asked her if she also teaches adults- and she does! Quite well, I might add. I was a super beginner and didn't take to piano easily but I'm very determined and willing to practice. Ms Ada has a very systematic way of teaching that includes technique, music reading, listening and incorporating music that you're interested in. So, we have combined a beginner book with other sheet music and she makes suggestions of songs within my interests. Mostly I love her classes because she is endlessly patient and kind. Her class is relaxed and fun and I learn quickly and usually am surprised at how I learn things I never thought I could. After about 6 moths or so of classes we are reaching the end of my beginner book and I actually believe I can learn how to play piano now. Julia Ada is a gift and I highly recommend her for adult and children students alike." -Wendy K.
